DNA Power Training

The body is trained, too.

Physical conditioning, body awareness and balance — for dancers and school students, and for anyone looking for Pilates and training with no dance experience at all.

A solid base for artistic practice

Artistic practice demands physical preparation, body awareness and balance. For this reason, DNA offers a set of activities designed to complement the work done in dance and performing-arts classes.

These disciplines strengthen physical preparation and body awareness, creating a solid base to meet the demands of artistic practice with safety and confidence.

Each activity meets specific goals, so that students, dancers and people with no dance experience alike can find support suited to their needs.

Reformer Pilates

By Fabiana Oishi

Reformer Pilates allows deeply individualised work, tailored to each person's characteristics, needs and goals.

The studio is led by physiotherapist Fabiana Oishi, ensuring specialised guidance grounded in the scientific understanding of movement, posture and rehabilitation. This approach makes it possible to develop safe, effective programmes that respect each person’s needs and physical condition.

Alongside Reformer Pilates classes, we also offer Clinical Pilates, a strand especially suited to injury prevention and recovery, functional rehabilitation, pain management and improved quality of life. Each programme is carefully adapted to individual needs, promoting a safe recovery and steady progress.

Using specialised equipment, classes strengthen the deep muscles, improve posture and increase joint mobility, flexibility, stability and body awareness, contributing to a stronger, more balanced and more functional body.

This practice is suited to people of all ages and levels of fitness, whether they wish to improve their well-being, prevent injury, relieve tension, recover functional abilities or enhance physical performance. It is also an excellent complement for athletes, dancers and anyone seeking a safe, effective and personalised exercise method.

In our studio, each student benefits from close, individualised guidance, in a professional and welcoming environment where the aim is to promote health, quality of life and a better relationship with movement.

Pilates for Dancers

Dancers face very specific physical challenges. Pilates is an important complement for reinforcing stability, preventing injury and improving the efficiency of movement.

Classes are geared to the demands of dance, allowing careful work on muscular control, balance, mobility and technical precision.

The aim is to build a body better prepared to meet the demands of training and performance.

Flexibility

Flexibility is an essential skill in many artistic disciplines, but it must be developed safely and progressively.

Classes combine mobility, stretching and muscular strengthening, seeking to increase range of movement without compromising joint stability or technical quality.

The work prioritises building a functional, balanced and resilient body, placing the quality of movement above the pursuit of extreme range.

Physical Conditioning

Physical conditioning complements artistic training through work geared towards strength, stamina, coordination and general fitness.

Exercises are adapted to each person’s characteristics and to the demands of the different activities, helping to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.

A physically prepared artist is in a better position to progress technically and to sustain their activity over time.

Yoga

Yoga introduces a moment of pause and of listening to the body within a routine often marked by intense training.

The practice supports mobility, breathing, concentration and physical and emotional balance, deepening awareness of the body and the quality of movement.

Yoga fits naturally into artistic training, offering time for recovery, balance and body awareness.

Barre

Barre combines elements of ballet, Pilates and functional training, providing complete work on strength, posture, balance and flexibility.

Through controlled, low-impact movements, classes strengthen the deep muscles, improve coordination and body awareness, and are suited to all ages and levels of fitness. It is a dynamic practice that promotes physical well-being, stamina and grace of movement.
